DorsetExplorer is our online mapping application that gives everyone access to a huge range of layers and tools.
You can find nearly anything in our ever expanding list of over 100 layers, including Rights of Way and School Catchments, historic OS Basemaps from the late 1800s, Aerial Photography, Digital Terrain Models and much more. All in a simple to use yet hugely powerful application.

Dorset statistics brings a vast quantity of statistical information and reports into one place.

MyLocal allows you to find out when your bins are collected, what school catchment area you are in, who your councillors are and much more, just be entering your postcode and picking your address.
On top of that, the DorsetForYou localisation service uses our high speed, high availability 'GIService' to grab this data and put it at the forefront of a number of D4U pages, giving you the information you need instantly.
